Description

This water inlet valve regulates the flow of household water into your refrigerator's water system. Replacing a worn valve can restore proper filling, improve dispenser flow, and help prevent leaks caused by a valve that won't fully close. What it does:

• Opens when energized to allow water in; closes to stop flow
• Supplies the water system your model uses (dispenser and/or ice maker)
• Common symptoms include: no water dispensing, no ice production, slow water flow, dripping from the dispenser, or leaks at the valve
• A failing coil or internal seal may cause buzzing, seeping, or intermittent operation

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off the household water supply before servicing
