- Provides a smooth, stepped shaft (shoulder) for parts to pivot or slide on
- Secures components while maintaining precise spacing and alignment
- Stops looseness that can cause rattling, binding, or uneven movement
- Works in assemblies where a wide truss head prevents pull-through
What's included: One shoulder screw, truss head, #8-18 x 1/2 Install notes:
- Use the correct screwdriver or bit to avoid stripping the truss head
- Do not overtighten; torque just enough to secure the part while allowing intended movement
- If working near electrical components, disconnect power to the appliance first
