Description

This starter rope is designed for use with several lawn and garden tools, including as hedge trimmers. It is wrapped around the starter pulley and can be manually pulled on to get the engine to start up. After wear and tear or a lot of use, the rope can start to fray and weaken. Given more time, the starter rope will completely break and no longer be useable. Many people will realize the starter rope is broken when pulling on it and receiving a line of rope in their hands. If the starter rope is broken, it needs to be replaced. First, the spark plug needs to be removed to prevent the engine from powering on. Next, the starter rope can be removed from the guide.
