Description

This is a quality inlet screen that can be used in many types of outdoor power equipment. The strainer is used in a variety of types of lawn and garden equipment. It is most commonly used in the fuel system of the carburetor for tools with small engines. If this part is damaged or broken, the carburetor may experience issues. With carburetor issues, the engine may not start even if the fuel tank is filled with gasoline. Testing for carburetor issues can be done by removing the air filter and inserting a small amount of fuel into the carburetor. If the engine turns on but then turns off again, one of the carburetor parts may have gone bad. If it is the inlet screen, the carburetor will need to be removed from the equipment and disassembled.
