Darryl L San Antonio , TX September 16, 2014 New hinge bolt needed for haier dishwasher Just pulled back on the dishwasher door so it was square with the appliance and inserted the hinge bolt into the hole in the hinge. One issue: The bolt requires a star washer to make sure it does not slip out over time. The original washer is thicker than most and actually snaps on to the end of the hinge bolt. The star washer was not included with the bolt. This caused a trip to one of the big box stores to hunt for a washer that would fit.
