Very smooth. I ordered the door and the control panel. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands when removing the screws from the door or place something under it so it doesn’t drop. The door comes off with about 10 screws. They are different length. Short screws go into steel, long go into plastic. Remove the door and upper facia/control panel. Just pulled back on the dishwasher door so it was square with the appliance and inserted the hinge bolt into the hole in the hinge. One issue: The bolt requires a star washer to make sure it does not slip out over time. The original washer is thicker than most and actually snaps on to the end of the hinge bolt. The star washer was not included with the bolt. This caused a trip to one of the big box stores to hunt for a washer that would fit. They do not carry star washers that are strong... Read more
