The shear bolt kit provides a special type of bolts used to connect the auger blade to the axle. The bolts are meant to provide protection in the event the blade becomes stuck or hits something hard, such as a chunk of ice. At that time, the force will cause the bolt to snap instead of breaking other parts of the machine what would be expensive to replace. The shear bolts are meant to break under certain conditions. When this happens, the owner will need to order replacements. It is also a good idea to check the condition of the bolts occasionally to ensure they are still in good working order and to replace them if they show signs of wear or potential early breakage. The bolts are easy to replace. These genuine OEM replacement shear bolts are sold in pairs and include nuts and washers. Compatible brands include Craftsman, Husqvarna, Snapper, Simplicity, Poulan Pro, Briggs & Stratton, and Murray. Buyers should be sure they are getting the right bolts for their make and model. They may also want to purchase some additional bolts to have on hand for the future.

This is a replacement clutch cable for snowblowers and snow throwers. The clutch cable is used to connect the control lever to the clutch in the drive system. This allows users to engage and disengage the machine. The cable will move the drive wheel into contact with the friction disc. This will then rotate the axle to move the snowblower. While the clutch cables on snowblowers tend to be durable, they can wear out over time and need to be replaced. They might have broken or become frayed or have suffered some other type of mishap. Without a working clutch cable, the snowblower will not be usable. Adjusting the cable can work in some cases, but a damaged cable should always be replaced. This OEM replacement cable is a genuine part for use with snowblowers from a range of brands. The clutch cable is metal and features rubber insulation. Compatible brands include Craftsman, Murray, Snapper, Simplicity, and Briggs & Stratton. Owners must check their manuals to ensure they are getting the correct replacement clutch cable for their snowblower.

This is a replacement front drive cable designed for some snowblower brands. The cable engages the front drive of the machine, allowing it clear snow from the machine's path. It's also sometimes called the auger cable. Over time and through normal use, the cable will suffer from wear and tear. Cables can fray, stretch, and even break in some instances. Eventually, all front drive cables will need to be replaced. Signs that the cable may need to be replaced include the auger drive not engaging, or engaging and then disengaging repeatedly. To replace the front drive cable, first, disconnect the spark plug wire. Then, remove the belt cover and locate then remove the cable where it connects to the control level, the cable guide pulley, and the 90-degree bracket. Install the new cable in the reverse order. This is a genuine OEM replacement front drive cable, and it is sold individually. It works with some models of Craftsman and Murray brand snowblowers. It also works with a number of Briggs & Stratton engines installed on other snowblower models.
