Sealed burner head for gas ranges. Sits on top of the cooktop to direct gas flow and create an even flame. Replace if cracked, corroded, or damaged.
I replaced the burner head. I turned off power to the stove, although I did not turn off the gas. I gave the old burner head a slight twist counter-clockwise until it lifted off the stove. I used the pliers to pull the wires from the old burner, then placed them onto the contacts on the new burner. Set it in place, and gave it a clockwise twist until it was snug. Replacement sealed burner assembly for gas ranges and cooktops. Installs on stovetop surface. Needed when burner cap is cracked, broken, or rusted out.
These are very easy to replace ,just gave the old one a quarter turn lifted it out took the two wires off (noted where each one will go on the new burner ) pop the wires onto the new burner put it on and good to go. Read more
