A primer bulb works to lubricate the engine with oil by pressing in the rounded tip of the primer bulb. It measures an inch in diameter and an inch tall. Over time these parts can wear out from sun exposure, contact with chemicals, or dry rot. The gasket may wear out before the primer bulb, so it is important to check this part regularly to discover any damage. Installing the new primer bulb kit should be easy and only take a few minutes. Only a screwdriver set and pliers are needed to complete this repair.
