This self-tapping screw is used to attach various parts to the engine housing of medium sized gasoline powered engines, in particular yard tools such as tillers, snow blowers, yard tractors, riding mowers, power vacuums, shredders, and chippers. It is used in over 150 different gasoline powered engines. Screws such as these are used particularly when a device is going to receive a great amount of vibration and stress while the engine is running and rotating tools are engaged. Such devices sustain a great deal of wear over time and the parts subject to replacement will eventually fail and need to be replaced. In such cases, it is wisest to replace the attaching hardware such as housing screws as well, because it is a self-tapping screw. Screws of this type are designed to forge a tight bond between the metal pieces they are securing together, but once loosened, they should ideally be replaced with new hardware. Make sure when replacing these screws to use genuine OEM parts like these screws. These replacement parts are manufactured to be identical to the original pieces. This hex screw is compatible with the following brands: MasterCut, Yard-Man, Yard Machine, Montgomery Wards, MTC, Murray, Bolens, Craftsman, Turf King, Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet, Huskee, Toro, and Ryobi.

Engine won't start or runs rough? This choke control regulates air-fuel mixture for cold starts on lawn tractors and mowers. Typical DIY repair.
Fix a lawn tractor that won't start or runs rough with a new choke control cable. Restores proper fuel-air mixture for reliable engine operation.
The choke cable opens and closes the valve that controls the choke, or throttle, on the lawn mower. When the choke handle is depressed or pulled out, it will open or close the butterfly valve, controlling fuel flow to increase or decrease the speed and performance of the mower. Based on the type of tension cable that is used, this part can wear out or even snap from regular use and need to be replaced. The durable choke cable will be easy to install, but always disconnect the spark plug and wear gloves. This genuine OEM choke cable can be used with mowers from RYOBI, MTD, Husky, Yard Machines, Yard-Man, Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, and Bolens. It is made of metal and plastic and comes directly from the manufacturer to ensure quality. Sold individually.

The ignition switch is the part of lawn and garden equipment that features an ignition to turn on and off with a switch. These are common on lawn tractors, as well as some lawn mowers, wood chippers, tillers, and log splitters. While these switches tend to be robust, they may eventually wear out. Some might have a mechanical failure after being used for years. Others might have electrical issues. Regardless of the reason for the failure, they will need to be replaced to continue using the machine. This is a genuine OEM part that is sold individually. It is a complete kit, which will include not only the switch, but also a washer and nut to secure the switch into the housing, and two ignition keys. The ignition switch can work with lawn tractors from brands such as MTD, Ryobi, Troy-Bilt, Bolens, Yard Machines, and Craftsman.
This is a simple set of lawnmower ignition keys. They’re also used for an array of riding mowers, lawn tractors, and even snowblowers. To simplify repair and replacement procedures, most manufacturers use standardized keys for all their machines in a given class. As a result, a single key can be used for dozens of machines. The keys are manufactured from stainless steel, with an INDAK logo stamped into the center. Regardless of whether the machine is a walk-behind mower or a full-sized lawn tractor, a keyed ignition is easier to operate than a recoil cord. Similarly, replacing a key is generally straightforward. The exception is if the old key has snapped off in the ignition. In this case, a set of needle-nosed pliers can sometimes be used to extract the key. A powerful magnet can also be helpful if the broken key is being stubborn. In the worst-case scenario, the ignition may need to be replaced. This is an OEM part sourced directly from MTD, and it is sold as a set of two.

This is a seven-inch cable tie that is used with different types of lawn and garden equipment. It is most commonly used to secure the cable onto the handle of the lawnmower or tiller so it is secure. The cable tie is made of durable plastic but can be damaged or break. When this happens, the tie will need to be replaced to ensure the cable stays on the handle. If the cable tie needs to be replaced, no tools are needed. In the situation where other parts need to be replaced at the same time, a basic set of tools and a pair of work gloves may be required. Turn off the yard equipment and place it on a stable surface before replacing the broken cable tie. The old tie can be removed so the new one can be installed before further use. This cable tie is an authentic OEM replacement part that is directly sourced from the manufacturer. This product is sold individually. The component is designed to be compatible with lawnmowers, lawn tractors, tillers, and snowblowers manufactured by MTD, Troy-Bilt, Yard-Man, and Yard Machines.
