Description

The genuine replacement air filter is made of foam and catches dust and debris from the air as it enters the engine on select lawn and garden equipment. Over time, filters will become clogged with regular use, which makes replacing them a part of routine maintenance on most engines. The air filter may also become clogged intermittently or due to excessive dust buildup between maintenance schedules, so it may be helpful to keep an extra filter on hand for emergency replacements. These filters cannot be cleaned and must be replaced when they become clogged. This genuine OEM filter is manufactured to exact standards by Husqvarna and is designed for use with hundreds of machines from Jonsered and Husqvarna, including blowers, trimmers, edgers, hedge trimmers, and saws. Replacing the air filter does not require any tools. Allow the engine to cool and simply remove the filter cover, take out the old filter, and replace the new filter. Then replace the cover. Always wear gloves when performing engine work. This filter is sold as a single unit and does not include the air filter cover or base assembly.
