Description

This bar adjustment kit is a replacement bar adjustment for a chainsaw. This kit contains the adjustment bolt, retainer ring, and a pin. It sits on the inside of the clutch cover and is positioned to put tension on the chain. Keeping the right amount of tension in the chain is crucial for users’ safety. If the chain becomes too loose, it can kick back or come off during operation. Through normal repeated use, the chain will become looser on the guide bar over time. Replacing the bar adjustment kit will restore the tension in your chainsaw to the appropriate amount. Be careful not to overtighten the chain, though, as it can cause unwanted friction and become a fire hazard. This is a genuine OEM part comes straight from the manufacturer and can be easily installed on Crossman or Poulan products with nothing more than a screwdriver. Simply remove the clutch cover, remove the old bar adjustment kit, replace it with the new one, and then align the corresponding parts when reattaching the cover. This part ships individually.
