Description

This pleated filter or filter pleat is an OEM replacement part designed specifically for use in chain saws and gas chain saws made by Craftsman, Husqvarna, and Poulan, among others. The filter is designed to capture any debris or dirt from the air before it makes its way into the carburetor and engine. Any debris can cause the engine to malfunction or idle unevenly. This can also prevent proper cooling and allow engine overheating or damage. Replacing the filter is easy and requires a screwdriver and socket set. After the machine cools completely, remove the cover. Next the filter pleat is removed and replaced with this replacement part. Then, replace the cover. This part ships individually without any hardware or other components and is made of long-lasting, effective materials.
