This is a genuine replacement self-tapping hex screw with a blunt nose designed for lawn mowers and lawn tractors. It is used in a variety of locations for the engine assembly of lawn mowers. The self-tapping feature allows the metal screw threads to tightly secure to other metal. The blunt nose requires the use of a pre-drilled pilot hole smaller than the diameter of the screw.
