The blower should be cool to the touch before replacing the muffler. Remove the spark plug to prevent accidental ignition. Remove the old muffler, retaining the hardware for installing the new one. Install the muffler first, followed by the muffler cover. Reinstall the spark plug and start the engine to check the noise level.This muffler kit is made of durable plastic and metal; it is sold as a single kit containing the muffler and muffler cover.
