This is a grass catcher frame that secures the grass catcher bag to the body of the mower. Mowers are twisted, lifted, and banged constantly, so a frame may become warped beyond use. If so, this OEM manufactured part is the solution. The replacement is an easy fix and should require less than 15 minutes and doesn’t require any tools. Simply remove the grass bag from the old frame, noting how the bag fit. Slide the new frame inside the bag. It should fit snugly with no undue tautness or slack. To make certain the frame was properly introduced into the bag, attach the frame to the mower. If the frame fits securely against the cowling of the mower, then the bag and frame have been fitted properly together. This grass catcher frame was designed specifically for Husqvarna and Poulan lawnmowers, though there are also a number of Craftsmen mowers on which this frame can be installed.
