The snowblower is designed to remove snow from the surface over which it is run, but no snowblower is designed to totally eliminate all of the materials beneath it. Most leave a small skim coating that ensures the augers don't scrape along the ground and damage a walkway or drive. However, many are also equipped with a scraper bar that removes even more of the snow than the skid plates allow. If the scraper is damaged or bent, it will mean a less satisfactory performance by the blower. This is an OEM part that is very easy to install with little more than a properly sized screwdriver and a socket or wrench set. This replacement scraper bar is designed to fit many different snowblowers made by Husqvarna and Poulan, and works with more than 100 models. It ships individually with mounting hardware.
