Icemaker Drive Gear

This is the drive gear for the ice maker module. It transfers motor power to the ejector/harvest mechanism so cubes release consistently; worn or stripped teeth can cause clicking, stalls, or little to no ice production.

  • Transfers motor torque to rotate the ejector and complete the harvest cycle
  • Replaces a cracked, stripped, or worn gear that prevents proper ice ejection
  • Typical symptoms: no ice production, icemaker stuck mid-cycle, clicking or grinding from the module
  • Helps restore reliable ice maker cycling
What's included: 1 drive gear Installation notes:
  • Unplug the refrigerator before service; turn off the water supply if moving the icemaker
  • Remove the icemaker assembly for access; note the original gear's orientation before removal
  • Align the new gear with the shaft; do not force it—inspect mating parts for wear
  • After reassembly, verify the ejector turns freely; restore power and run a test cycle
