The water filter is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This filter removes or reduces various contaminants.

Note: If replacing the Culligan metal canister design filter for the first time, a special adapter, part number AP2615702 is needed, which is not included with this part. The compatible bypass cap is part number AP6891551.

This OEM GE part can also be used on Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore/Sears appliances. 
 

This ice maker assembly replaces the refrigerator's frozen-water harvesting unit so your fridge can produce and eject ice reliably. Designed as a direct replacement to restore normal ice production and harvesting cycles. What it does:

• Automatically fills with water, freezes, then cycles to harvest ice cubes into the bin
• Uses the built-in thermostat and motorized ejector to release formed ice
• Restores ice production when the original ice maker is no longer cycling or is producing little to no ice
• Can stop ice leaks and erratic harvesting caused by a failed ice maker mechanism

• Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before beginning work
• Handle the unit and electrical connector carefully to avoid damage to the harness
• Install with OEM mounting points; ensure the ice maker is level and securely fastened
• After installation, restore power/water and run a test cycle to confirm proper fill and harvest
