Took a screw driver lifted the top, Unscrewed two screws holding the front on the inside of the dryer one to left and one to the right. Laid the front on the floor and removed to other screws holding the collector in place, popped out old one cleaned all the lint and dust and popped the new one in put the new seal in place and done ! Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. I replaced the controller. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to get to it. The video on the website showed access to the control via the rear panel. On the Kitchen Aid we have, the back panel is part of the range's main frame and does not come off. Turns out, 2 screws behind the fluorescent lamp had to be removed and the entire control panel housing lifts up and can be tilted forward.
