This upper vent cover replaces the visible duct cover on a range hood to restore proper appearance and help channel exhaust air. It provides a finished look and protects ductwork from grease and debris. What it does:

• Covers the vent duct above the hood for a clean, finished appearance
• Helps direct exhaust up into the duct while protecting internal components from dust and grease
• Use when the original chimney is dented, cracked, or cosmetically damaged

The Capacitor is an OEM part for Whirlpool range hoods. This capacitor functions to optimize blower motor performance. It works in tandem with the motor to efficiently expel cooking vapors and gases from the kitchen.

Causes relate to standard wear over extended use of the vent hood. Electrical issues can cause premature capacitor failure.  

Symptoms of a bad capacitor include:

• Reduced air circulation and weaker ventilation
• Abnormal humming or grinding noises from the motor
• Failure of the blower to turn on as desired

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.

This thermostat bracket secures the oven thermostat/sensor in the correct position so the control can monitor and regulate oven temperature accurately. A direct-fit replacement that restores proper sensor mounting and alignment. What it does

• Holds the thermostat or temperature sensor firmly in place so the sensor reads oven temperature reliably.
• Helps prevent sensor movement that can cause inconsistent cooking or temperature fluctuations.
• Restores proper clearance and alignment between the sensor and oven cavity for accurate temperature control.

• One thermostat bracket (single mounting bracket)

• Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair.
• Remove oven panels or access cover to reach the thermostat bracket; keep track of screws and mounting hardware.
• Verify bracket orientation and gently seat the thermostat/sensor into the bracket before tightening fasteners.
