Kelvinator Range Light, Bulb, Lamp

Before we replaced the board, my wife tried to replace just the element. We had one we had ordered several years ago when this same thing happened. When that didn't work we replaced the board and could see where the old board was damaged so we figured this was the solution. The repair was a success. The switch and came looked different from the original. I called Appliance Parts Pro, they lady on the phone said that Frigidaire changed the switch and how to wire it up correctly. Problem solved. It all works as it should. Read more

Called for a repair tech, he told me what the problem was, I had already checked out the burnt connections,repair was going to be $450-500 range, My wife & I discussed repair or new range,repair won out.I am a retired machine repairman with some elect skills,so looked up parts online ordered them, installed the new control board with the new "decal" , checked out the oven, etc, everything seems good to go. Had to pull double oven and range top out from wall which involved removing the upper kitchen cabinet. Took the sheet metal off the back and had the socket swapped out in a couple of minutes. My old oven works like a charm! Read more
