This ground wire provides a safe chassis connection to restore proper grounding and reduce shock and electrical-fault risk. It replaces a frayed, corroded or missing ground lead to help keep the appliance electrically safe. What it does

• Connects the appliance chassis to the grounding system to prevent stray voltage on metal surfaces

• Always disconnect power (unplug or shut off the circuit breaker) before starting work
• Attach the ring/terminal ends to the designated chassis ground screw and the equipment ground point
• Route the wire away from moving parts, heating elements, and sharp edges; secure with existing clips or fasteners
• If terminal hardware is missing or damaged, replace with equivalent OEM-style fasteners and torque to specification
