Alan G Slidell , LA September 23, 2015 Appliance: Maytag 30" Electric Freestanding Self Clean Range Convect Ove MER6765BAS18 The cancel button on the panel for the upper oven had quit working and the overlay had cracked due to extra pushing to get the button to work I ordered a new panel and overlay from Appliance Parts Plus. The overlay was backordered which was a little frustrating but it came in at most a week later. The replacement was simple. All the plug ins were easy to remove and plug back in. The overlay fit right in place. Don't know what it would have cost to have an appliance repairman do the job but I am sure I saved hundreds. Oh yea, the wife sure is happy. Allen H Pepperell , MA December 23, 2016 Upper oven would not maintain heat it would heat up at the start to say 350 but would not refire to keep it there The control panel was the problem and after watching your "How to" it was easy. Happy wife, happy life! One thing I would recommend is a magnetic screwdriver. Drop one of the board screw down into the back of the oven and it won't be fun finding it! Read More...
