The Natural Gas Spring is an OEM part for Whirlpool ranges. This part assists in regulating the flow and pressure of natural gas to the burners, ensuring consistent and safe operation. The spring helps maintain the correct pressure within the gas regulator, which is vital for efficient cooking performance.
Causes of a bad natural gas spring can include wear and tear from prolonged use, exposure to high temperatures, or contamination from particles within the gas line.
Symptoms of a bad natural gas spring include:
- Inconsistent or weak burner flames
- Difficulty in lighting the burners or oven
- Irregular cooking temperatures
- Unusual noises or gas odors near the regulator
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.
