Kmart Edger Belt

This is a replacement belt that can be used on select edger/trimmer models of lawn and garden equipment. This is the main drive belt that is responsible for driving the trimmer blades. Belts are made of rubber and exposed to constant and repetitive motion, which can cause them to stretch or wear out over time. Eventually, they may become so loose or damaged that they will not be able to drive the blades and will need to be replaced. Without a properly functioning drive belt, the trimmer blades will not work. A genuine replacement part like this provides an exact fit for compatible units. This OEM drive belt is manufactured by MTD and can be used with select models of trimmers from the brand and a few models from Troy-Bilt, as well. This belt is sold as an individual unit and does not include any additional components or hardware. In order to replace the drive belt, a set of wrenches is required. It is advised to clean the pulleys before installing the new belt to ensure optimal performance and extend the life of the belt. Be sure to disengage the engine and wear gloves when replacing this belt or other internal parts.
