Eric B Plano , TX April 15, 2017 Appliance: LG Washer WM2277HW 0e code was present on my lg washing machine this turned out to be a failed drain pump i also had a very slow water fill during wash cycles I first checked for blockage in the drain hose. There was some significant buildup but not a complete blockage of the hose. I did remove the drain hoses and connector manifold and thoroughly cleaned these parts. I then ordered the drain pump and both hot and cold inlet valves from appliancepartspro.com. I received the parts the next day and installed them. Washer is back up and running normally with a fast water fill and fast drain! I also replaced the hot/cold washer hoses which connect the washer to the hookups. After disassembling the old inlet valves, I found the rubber manifolds (inside the solenoid) to be completely deteriorated. While I had no water leak, I do feel like the inlet valves were at the end of their useful life and the deterioration was causing my slow water fills. The wash cycle times are much faster than before which is a result of the normal fill and drain times I now have again. This washer is 11 years old (WM2277HW). I purchased a liquid tray from appliance parts pros. Read More... 5 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
