The $9 + a piece clips (1 arrived taco shaped) clip the infrared broiler element inside a protective housing allowing space for air to flow around the element. 2 stainless oem clips failed, 3rd couldn't bear the weight and fell out. You have to unscrew the housing w 2 screws at the front and then 2 more screws that clamshell the housing. LGs design was good for the lab and light use, however the 20/22 ga stainless clips disintegrated around the element. With high use and heat cycle and stress this made the 3rd fall out of the slot and dangle. The metal is thin that hold the clips, go slow. After reassembly oven worked as new after 3 heat cycles.
