Popped the ice/water dispenser out, and cleaned everything. Since the parts were identical repairs took less than 15 minutes.

After watching YouTube videos on how to remove the entire water and ice dispensing unit from the outside of the door, I was able to determine I needed a new button lever. The on-line image looks correct other than the color. I needed gray/silver and the image looked “off-white”. Called for help and to confirm color. Ordered an actuator lever too. Both parts came together in about 5 days. Both parts fit and worked perfectly and the entire job took about 5 minutes.
