Bob D Dublin , OH January 11, 2015 Appliance: Model LG LRSC26925TT First the ice cap broke and with the warm air getting to ice it was always becoming ne big block of ice in the bin then the bin busted then the ice maker quit working as well time to get it fixed Ordered all the parts from Appliance Parts Pro.com and everything was dropped at my door in two days (that was unbelievable in its self) I then watched a couple of your how too videos and it all looked easy enough - right. It went so easy I was in total disbelief that it was going to work....But it did and everything is like brand new. Spitting out ice cubes and water just like it did when I bought it. Now the world is right again. Thanks Read More... 27 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers

Eddie S Liberty Hill , TX November 24, 2014 Appliance: Model LG LSC27990TT Ice dispenser dropping ice cap broken Received the parts by 10am the day after I placed the order. Started repair right away and took less than 15mins to complete. The spring lever that I ordered did not match the actual spring in the appliance. It was missing a hook which keeps it engaged with the cap. I was able to modify the spring and add the necessary hook using my needle nose pliers, but it would have been better if it fit as needed right out of the package. Overall, couldn't be happier! Bruce B Corpus Christi , TX March 12, 2019 Appliance: Model LSC27926SB (AWBCLGA) Flap on ice dispenser was loose I was buying a part for my other refrigerator and decided to replace the ice tray on my LG, as it was not emptying properly. When I found the part, I also saw a video attached to the ice dispenser parts. I had taped over the ice dispenser years ago and would just open the freezer for ice. Watched the video and they sure made it look easy to replace that flap, so I decided to give it a shot. I replaced the ice tray as soon as the parts came in, but did not have the time to tear off the front panel that day. Decided the time was now available and sat down in front of the fridge and started feeling for the openings mentioned in the video, mine did not have those. Instead of a screwdriver, as is shown in the video, I used a plastic putty knife to slide under the panel to click loose the tabs. I knew I would scratch the fridge if I went at it with a screwdriver. Once I removed the panel everything was just as it was in the video. (note: I did not even have to watch the video twice, it was very clear and understandable the first time.) I took it apart as described, including the warning given about the spring (which I also ordered a replacement, just in case). Everything, except the ice funnel, worked as perfect as the expert in the video and I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly the job was completed. I thank you, and curse you, for providing the video showing how easy this job, that I had put off for years, was to complete. Thanks again, Bruce.
