Pat G Walker , LA April 01, 2014 Lint getting past the filter We had a problem of lint building up inside of the filter slot. Once I took a long brush and cleaned the recess where the filter slides I was able to see that the old filter was not catching all the lint. Upon closer examination I noticed that the seal around the filter had become compressed. that's when I order another filter from AppliancePartsPros.com. My new filter came within three days and my dryer has been working fine ever since then. Anthony C Barnegat , NJ March 17, 2015 Appliance: LG Dryer DLG5988W No heat in my lg dlg5988w dryer I first ordered a thermostat and ignitor and replaced and that did not work. I asked Appliance Parts Pros their opinion in the chat and they said it was the coils in the gas valve but you had to replace the entire valve as the coils are not sold individually. So i ordered the part and also replaced the thermistor and drum belt while i had the dryer apart anyway! And this fixed the problem! These guys are the absolute best and most helpful i have ever dealt with. This is the second time i used them as my washer broke six months ago! The self help videos with matt are worth their weight in GOLD!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Pete R Denver , CO July 24, 2016 Appliance: LG Dryer DLE2514W Loud squeaking sound during operation Wasn't sure what was making the sound so I ordered all 4 drum rollers, belt and pulley. When I opened the dryer it was obvious one of the front drum rollers had seized with lint and hair buildup. I still replaced all the parts and it works great again. The videos on Parts Pros were exceptional and essential to this DIY repair! The dryer was fairly dirty and cleaning every part as I went along added extra time to my repair but I figure actual repair time to be about 1 hour. Stephen R Peterstown , WV August 03, 2014 Appliance: Kenmore Dryer 79680311900 No error code just worn lint filter felt I turned off the electric at the electric panel for the dryer. Then I took apart the inside area were the lint filter was held and vacuumed it out with a small wet and dray vac. This collected all excess lint that had passed the worn filter that was being replaced. Then checked for any problems any where else, I saw none so I replaced all four screws and then fitted the new replacement filter. The new filter fit perfectly. The new replacement filter came quickly after I ordered it, the price was as expected, and the product was the correct one for my machine. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros. Finally my wife tested it and said things worked perfectly for her and that is the real test for me. Again Thanks! Dave H Northridge , CA December 03, 2017 Appliance: LG Dryer DLG8388NM Noisey Replaced all 4 drum rollers. I had replaced the belt, idler pulley and one roller about a year and a half ago. Should have broken down and replaced all of the rollers then. Had to go back in when two more of them failed recently. The video made the repair much easier.
