Ed R Cupertino , CA July 11, 2026 Lg dryer snagging clothes I did a little research on the internet. Seems like this is a normal issue, perhaps caused by appliance age, not sure. Anyway, it’s easy to remove the lint trap holder on the LG dryer. I replaced the old with the new part, which fit good, but required a little strength and persistence but I was successful. The new “factory part” though has changed, and my old lint trap screen didn’t fit because of the design change. I was able to modify it by cutting off the ears so it would fit flush.
