Bob D Dublin , OH January 11, 2015 Appliance: Model LG LRSC26925TT First the ice cap broke and with the warm air getting to ice it was always becoming ne big block of ice in the bin then the bin busted then the ice maker quit working as well time to get it fixed Ordered all the parts from Appliance Parts Pro.com and everything was dropped at my door in two days (that was unbelievable in its self) I then watched a couple of your how too videos and it all looked easy enough - right. It went so easy I was in total disbelief that it was going to work....But it did and everything is like brand new. Spitting out ice cubes and water just like it did when I bought it. Duane M Surprise , AZ March 14, 2014 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LSC27910SW Water and ice dispenser wouldn't shut off. Chatted on your website. Technician suggested that funnel was the problem. I couldn't see how that could be possible. I watched video to find out how to get at dispensing parts. I removed the front dispensing panel and located the problem which I thought was the microswitch. The parts diagram did not show a microswitch part. I called the help line and told the technician that I thought I needed a new switch but that I couldn't find it. She said that I needed to order the funnel. I said that I didn't need a funnel but I needed the switch. She said the switch came with the new funnel and was not available as a seperate part. She told me to look at the third illustration of the part and sure enough, it did contain the microswitch. I ordered the part and installed it within a few minutes and my problem was solved. A defective microswith was the problem. Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers

Marshall B Burlington , NJ December 09, 2017 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LRSC26925SW Ice shot door fell apart would not dispense ice. Replaced ice shot door. Because the original ice funnel was glued in by the manufacturer, it could not be removed without breaking, resulted in replacement of the ice funnel and dispenser assembly. Unfortunately the dispenser was damaged when I received it. This wouldn’t have happened if packaged from the supplier in a box instead of a bubble rap envelope. Fortunately i was able to repair (glued together). The drip tray was not the correct part hopefully I can return and exchange. However I fixed the problem in about 30 minuets. Read More...
