Evan M Rhine Beck , NY August 27, 2016 Cracked handle on kenmore microwave New handle was similar to the old one but not an exact fit. The plastic tabs around each of the two screw holes have to be cutoff with a small saw or blade. Also that allows the handle to sit against the microwave door. Also, had to drill larger hold in the door for it to fit. Finally after taking the door off and 90 minutes it works fine..... Zach H Selah , WA January 26, 2016 Handle was broken I bought the replacement handle from here, but it needed work before it fit. I just cut the "nubs" flush with the handle using a hacksaw blade and it was all good. To remove the door, you take off the plastic inner coverusing a putty knife or scraper, then the door will lift off. After that it's all simple screwdriver work. Read More...
