It was easy. 8 screws to remove and the top cover. 2 screws in the bottom of the hinge. Replace the hinge and reassemble. They arrived within a week. The process to replace parts was very simple. Just had to unscrew the door and top from the body of the machine and replace the parts. Read More... Catherine C Bend , OR March 18, 2023 Appliance: LG WT1701CV/00 Broken lid hinge. It was simple on this site to find the correct part that I needed for my LG WT1701CV washer. The instructions provided were however not correct for my machine. We did exactly what the instructions said but we still could not remove the hinge. Ended up calling my repair person who came out and installed the new hinges for me. You had to take the entire machine apart to get to 2 screws that were holding the hinge in place. It was easy for my repair person because he had done it before. Anyway the hinges were the correct part and my machine is back in business. Read More...
