Erich Y Jensen Beach , FL December 19, 2015 Appliance: Model LFX25973ST Lg french door in door ice maker stopped working Replaced ice maker. Some confusion as to which part # it was as the model number cross reference shows the one I purchased was not for my model refrigerator when it actually was. Secondly, a few comments from others said the switch out was simple. Only 3 screws holding in the ice maker although one of the three was in a tight spot . That is technically true. Three screws do hold the ice maker on the door , however, you must also remove the door panel behind the ice maker to get to the wiring harness connectors, ground wire and sensor to do the necessary connections. All said and done, it was easy enough and worth the cost savings of paying a service tech to do the job, but if you're not mechanically inclined and attempt this install with only the part and no manual or instructions, you may be in over your head. The part I received was an exact match and although I selected standard shipping, it arrived the next day via FedEx.
