Lg 6871ER1003C Main Printed Circuit Board OEM Part

Replaced the main printed circuit board.

Watched a video what could be wrong with my lg tromm washer not pumping water out changed the pump didnt work called AppliancePartsPros.com told me i probably need to change Main Circuit Board they sent it in two days along with email vedio step by step how to change not difficult at all and it worked thanks AppliancePartsPros.

Through my research it could've been the control board or main board. If you know what item on the board to test with a meter you can then determine which board to replace. I did not have that option and took a chance and replaced the main board and it turned out I was right. The plastic cover that covers the main board had a sticker on it with a serial number. Pay no attention to this sticker because when I pulled out my main board itself it had a different serial number on the board and I used that one to order the replacement.Repair was fast and washer powered up fine.

Replaced with new power board.

I called a repairman. He said it would be $ 650 to replace the motherboard and a leaky water valve. I decided that amount was ridiculous so I looked up the parts online at AppliancePartsPros.com, watched some YouTube videos on how to the repair and fixed it myself.It took less than 30 mins. Total cost: $182.00 The repairman told me the water valve part alone cost $180 dollars and then $70 to put it in for me. I asked him if I could order the part myself and he said "No, you have to be authorized to order these parts" Anyway, that part actually cost $14.92. I am a 45 year old woman and have never fixed any appliance before in my life, but I replaced the water valve and the motherboard by myself. For someone that always do their own repairs, this might not seem like a big deal, but for me it was a huge accomplishment and I'm feeling proud.
