Also had videos which were helpful. Amazon didn't have pictures or videos. Almost enticed to save a few bucks but choose peace of mind and a sure fit over whatever might have come from someone who knows more about books than refrigerators. John L Royersford , PA July 12, 2014 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LSC26905TT The freezer was not as cold as it should be and it was not making ice The fan motor was defective so it needed to be replaced. This is the motor that controls the fan to cool the coils in the back of the fridge. Since they were not being cooled the freezer was not getting cold. The back panel needed to be removed. You will also need to remove the drain tube and the ice maker connection from the back to pull the housing for the fan and motor out. Once the motor was replaced I reinstalled everything. John C New Freedom , PA December 18, 2015 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LSC26905TT My lg refrigerator was making loud squeeking noise found the cooling motor was the problem Watched a video on you tube of changing out the cooling fan motor for my exact refrigerator. Ordered the motor from Appliancepartspros.com. Received the motor in two days with regular shipping. It took me longer to clean the parts and under carriage of the unit than it did to actually replace the motor. 10 minute job, very easy. my refrigerator now runs quietly and is back to normal. The video on appiancepartspros.com was not of my unit, that's why I went to you tube.
