Lg AGB72932401 Washer Nozzle Assembly OEM Part

There was water on the floor and I was walking out the door for vacation. I turned the water off at the wall and left! Upon return, I looked up all the local appliance repair shops and dreaded the pending cost. So, I did a little research on-line, removed the back of the machine, top electric panel back, top of machine where drum which was about 10 screws total. I found corrosion near the washer nozzle and the attached hose clamp and all down the opposite side of the encasement. I ran the tub clean cycle and water sprayed everywhere from the hose and clamp on the washer nozzle assembly connection. I broke the Nozzle trying to remove it from the inside tub area of the machine. I found a hose clamp in my garage, eyed the hose to see if it would still fit if I cut off the 1/4 " frayed end and I ordered a replacement part from Appliance Parts Pros for the nozzle assembly. The part received was the wrong part., even though the packaging had the correct part number on it AND another part number that suggested this part could work for either as a replacement. After contacting AppliancePartsPros, they researched and expedited the correct part. The customer service was AWESOME!!!! I received the correct part the next day - 3 days sooner than expected. (My brother wondered why his 74 year old little sister was repairing her 10 year old washing machine -- I saved over $245 dollars, by purchasing a $35 part and taking on a little challenge. It took me about 2 hours start to finish, as I knew nothing to start and had to research. A great sense of accomplishment and quite a boost for the budget in this economy.)
