Very simple fix. It probably only took about 10 minutes to complete. Seems to have fixed the problem. I may have to replace hot water valve as well but that will be even easier. Donald S Pine Bush , NY November 14, 2016 Appliance: LG Washer WM1814CW Water pump for drain went bad I pulled the washer partially off the platform it sits on. Then unscrewed the pump, disconnected hoses from underneath the washer (as it is open on the bottom), disconnected the wire pulled the pump out. Slid the pump out of its sleeve, put the new pump in the sleeve reconnected to housing. The remounted in washer, put hoses back on, plugged in them tested. Success Read More...
