John P Woodbridge , VA March 25, 2016 Appliance: Model LRE3023ST Lg stove touch control panel broke To replace the stove touch control panel was easy. From the rear of the stove, remove the cover for the heating element / lock actuator (left side, 2 screws), remove the upper panel (8 perimeter screws & 4 centerline screws). From the control panel, remove the 14 connectors. To remove the ribbon cable pull connector retainer (about 1/8"), pull ribbon cable out of retainer. On the front of the stove, bottom of the face, remove the two screws that retain the control panel (outer most screw on either side). Remove the entire week control panel. Place panel on flat surface and remove the three screws that retain the cercuit board bracket. Remove bracket with circuit board.
