Zane O Bismarck , ND February 08, 2022 Appliance: LG Dryer DLEX8100V Moisture damage to the main control board caused by using the steam function. After calling a service company and getting a quote of $850 to replace the mainboard and the display board because he wasn’t sure which one had gone bad. I ordered the same parts from you guys for half the price with next-day shipping, which had me up and running 12 days sooner than the service tech could’ve done it. After unplugging the dryer I removed the two screws that hold the top in place. Removed the top to get quick and easy access to the mainboard. 4 screws later the board was removed. I used a pick to undo the retainer clips and got all the plugs disconnected. The board and plugs are color-coded so it was simple to hook everything back up. I tested it to make sure it worked and put it all back together. Start to finish it took 25 minutes and one bush light. It only needed the main control board so it saved me $550. You guys are great.
