Jepson O Freeville , NY April 20, 2016 Lg electric oven would'nt go above 220 degrees and found no power going to lower element and top element would cycle on & off First tried replaceing the oven temp. sensor, (the cheapest), no luck. Then started pokeing around and found no power was going to lower element. Replaced the Oven PCB and it did the trick. Oven works like a champ now. Roger S Bristol , VA December 26, 2014 Oven over heated error code f9 I first researched the LG model on web on how to check for F9 code problems. Was told to use electronic meter to check terminals on heat sensor, bake and broil elements first. If they were ok then check the oven pcb assembly. Found no reading on the pcb so I ordered a new pcb board. That took care of the problem. Spent about $55.00 for replacement part Much better than having a technician come check the unit. Scott S Red Oak , IA January 05, 2020 Appliance: LG Electric Range LRE30453ST/00 Lg oven would not heat up all the way to temp selected then stop Tested upper and lower heating elements, temp sensor, fuse. All met manufacturer specs. Tested Pwb(pcb) per troubleshooting instructions and failed. Ordered new Pwb and thermostat for good measure. Parts arrived promptly and fit well even though original part number now replaced with this one. Installed parts and fixed issue. Did lots of baking over holidays and parts have held up just fine.
