Straight forward fix. Hardest part was moving the washer. Rear cover only has 4 Phillips screws, and the bolt that holds the rotor is a 17mm socket, An impact driver will help to remove/install as it can be difficult to hold the rotor stationary without a helper. New part has a metal spline insert as compared to the OEM plastic part. Frank F Long Valley , NJ October 04, 2015 Appliance: LG Washer WM2801HRA Rotor assembly was stripped at connection point I did some research on line after we had a service professional out and he could not determine the fix. I removed the bolt attaching the rotor assembly, removed the rotor and saw that it was partially stripped. Went on to partspro.com put in model #, and part required, and ordered it. I added the bolt to my order, and received the parts in three days. Put the part on in about ten minutes and the washer is like new again running great.
