I tried the fix recommended and it didn't work so I ordered the parts. It took less than 5 minutes to switch out the old for the new. If the door doesn't latch, you can't run the microwave and it's key. It wasn't an expensive or hard fix to get my microwave up and running again. Troy B Fairmont , MN August 09, 2021 Appliance: LG Microwave Oven LMH2016ST/01 The latch was broken and it couldn’t detect the door was shut. Disassembled the inside of the door and found a spring laying in the bottom. Removed the latch and found the hook that the spring hooks to was broken. After receiving the new parts.
