Leroy B Colorado Springs , CO January 19, 2015 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LMX25981ST Two issues water in the bottom of fridge and clicking noise The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. The Start solenoid on the compressor was an Embarco TSD part 513604044. APP does not have that part nor does any else found a similar one on ebay but I ordered the PTC assembly 6749C-0014E. I removed the overload relay and capacitor from the TSD used two pieces of wire and connectors to create the circuit using the PTC. As soon as I plugged it in the compressor started working and cooling the fridge. problem solved. Thanks APP for the parts I should be good to go another 7 years. I opened the front cover (breaking the spear that holds it in place on the right hand side), easily removed the defective reservoir and replaced it with the new one. I also replaced the front cover with a new cover to make up for the broken spear. Took less than 10 minutes. Scott G Kissimmee , FL June 19, 2018 Appliance: LG Refrigerator LFX25975ST Water dispenser would not work properly, I had to keep pressing water dispenser to get it to work I watch Appliance Part Pros video how to change out water dispenser video on my LG refrigerator model LFX25975ST. This gave me a good idea what I needed to order as a part replacement before pulling out the refrigerator and disconnecting everything. I order the water valve assembly part and installed it less than 30 minutes. I actually spent more time cleaning behind the refrigerator than it took to change the part. One good tip: to make sure the water is off is to relieve the water pressure at the refrigerator or another faucet before you change the water valve. I have a separate water shut off valve for the refrigerator, however it was old and did not shut the water off completely. I had to shut the main water valve off to the house because the refrigerator water line shut off valve was old/bad. Recommend bring a small bucket to catch the water setting in the lines. Mine had at least a gallon that drained out which more than a towel could absorb. I ordered the extra water line little black connector, however this was not needed in my case. The new one came with one. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Adjustable Wrench, Screwdrivers
