This main top frame is the metal support piece that mounts at the back of the cooktop area, providing structural support and alignment for the console, backguard, and cooktop assembly. Replaces a bent, rusted, or damaged rear top frame to restore proper fit and stability. What it does:

  • Supports and aligns the rear section of the range/cooktop top and backguard
  • Keeps control console and backguard mounted securely and square
  • Prevents gaps or misalignment that can cause rattling or poor fit
  • Addresses visible damage, warping, or corrosion of the rear top area
What's included: One main top frame Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any service to avoid shock hazard
  • Remove the cooktop and/or control console to access the top frame
  • Handle sheet-metal parts carefully; wear gloves to avoid cuts
  • Use OEM fasteners and follow manufacturer torque and alignment guidelines during reassembly
