Micro Switch Set (Door/Lid Switches)

Replacement micro switch set that restores reliable door and lid sensing for Samsung appliances. Replaces worn or damaged micro switches so your appliance can detect open/closed positions and resume correct operation. What it does:

  • Detects door or lid open/closed position and signals the control to allow or stop operation.
  • Restores safety interlock behavior so the appliance won't run with the door or lid open.
  • Helps resolve symptoms such as the appliance not starting, stopping mid-cycle, or failing to detect a closed door/lid.
  • Eliminates intermittent operation caused by loose, broken, or worn switch contacts.
What's included: One micro switch set. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power (unplug or shut off circuit breaker) before accessing internal components.
  • Remove the appropriate access panel or door assembly to reach the switches; keep track of fasteners.
  • Note or photograph wire and connector positions before disconnecting; reconnect exactly as found.
  • Test switches with a multimeter.
