This genuine MTD foam grip provides a firmer grip for one's hands while holding onto the handles or the bar of a lawnmower; the foam grip insulates one's hands from the vibration and shaking of a lawnmower while in use.The foam grip of a lawnmower can be subject to damage in the form of chips, nicks, cuts, tears, rips, or punctures. This damage can be the result of overuse, age, exposure to the elements, or general wear and tear easily attributable to regular long-term usage.
