Hard piece to find, but applianceParts Pros had it. Simple install. 1. Remove plastic interior door panel with a knife. 2. Unscrew the two screws attached to the broken handle, from the top and bottom of handle. 3. Screw in new handle. 4. Re-insert plastic interior door panel. Note: I didn't need to remove the interior door panel in it's entirety, just the part near the handle.

Two screws and I was done

Took the inside of the door apart using a flat screwdriver to pop it open. Then remove the two Phillips screws holding the old handle once they were exposed. Put it together in opposite order!

Not only did the part arrive quickly, my husband was able to fix it in a matter of a few minutes. I know for such a small handle it seemed a little costly but I was so happy that I did not have to replace the unit itself....priceless!!

First we checked out a video from You Tube on how to make the repair. Right there on the sight was the Aapliance Part Pros websight to order parts. My husband tried removing a door part to reveal the screws that hold the handle on and it was super easy. That night I ordered the new handle and we received it in three days. The repair went smoothly and now we have a like-new microwave!
